Please keep in mind Kaiyu’s unique concept before making a reservation.
KAIYU is not a place where you will just stay a few nights and eat food that you find in a typical hotel or inns. We want to offer you a lifestyle experience in the Japanese countryside where you can find your dear old home feelings. We don't have everything you have in your life, conveniency and luxury come later in our priority.
Please keep in mind our unique concept when you visit. Please do not expect a perfect luxurious resort stay as we are not perfect. However, we can offer guests treasures that are missing in your everyday life. For instance, fresh clear air, and a slow and relaxing time. We hope you understand our stance, and cooperate with us.
" KAIYU Guidelines "
◎ Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the premises.
◎ Amenity items such as towels, yukata, and toothbrushes are not available. Please bring products that are as friendly to the natural environment as possible.
◎ We maintain the facility without using chemical substances as much as possible.
◎ Non-ironed sheets are washed with natural soap and dried in the sun.
◎ There are also birds and insects on the premises that are close to nature.
◎ We design equipment that does not rely on heating and cooling as much as possible.
◎ The lights in public spaces and corridors are solar cell sensing lights.
◎ Hair dryers and curling irons cannot be used in the resort condominium building. They can be used in the hot spring building washroom.
◎ Please refrain from cooking anything that emits smoke or odors in the room.
◎ Since each room is different, you cannot specify the room. We will do our best to meet your request, but please understand if this is not the case.
◎ Outdoor experiences, such as snorkeling, depend on the weather.
◎ Please value the manners and the facility building and the neighboring area.
◎ Credit cards are not accepted. Only cash (Japanese yen) is accepted.
